"Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek revealed in a YouTube video Wednesday that he has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Trebek said in the video he was given the health update this week.

"Now normally, the prognosis for this is not very encouraging, but I’m going to fight this, and I’m going to keep working," he said. "And with the love and support of my family and friends and with the help of your prayers also, I plan to beat the low survival rate statistics for this disease."

I wonder if all the 50s above ground nuclear testing is what caused the seemingly uptick in all forms of cancer???????

Ironically the Japanese may have it better because they only got nuked twice compared to the many dozens of nukes we set off in Nevada and New Mexico.....and all the fallout from them...

We just buried a beloved coworker who lost his battle with pancreatic and liver cancer.

His funeral was last Saturday.
Forty seven years old with a wife and two kids.

I pray for Mr. Trebek’s recovery and healing. It’s a terrible way to go.

Sometimes it the treatments that kill the patient weakening them and they can’t fight any more, seen that with many family and friends.

My wife has been living with stage 4 breast cancer for four years now since diagnosis, and with the exception of just a little bone pain at the outset, she's had no symptoms from the cancer. But the treatments have run down her immune system, with the result that she's been hospitalized four times with infectious sicknesses. Apart from those incidents you wouldn't know anything was wrong with her.

So glad for you
