I checked Wikipedia. The ship was carrying Spanish gold and silver to Flanders to pay the Spanish army of Flanders. The Spanish transport that was suppose to carry the precious metal caught on fire in Cadiz.

I sure as hell wouldn’t tell anyone. No need to invite the government into my exploits.

The weather can be notoriously bad out there, especially this time of year. Hopefully, no one is gonna die trying this without proper training and equipment.

Hi.
There are large salvage ships with Hugh and series vacuums.
Expect one on station within the month.

From Wikipedia "On board were at least 100,000 pounds of gold (over 1.5 billion USD in today's money)[3], 400 bars of Mexican silver (another 1 million) and nearly 500,000 pieces of eight and other coins, making it one of the most valuable wrecks of all times"

That’s a big freaking Anchor!!!
Figure the guy standing next to it is 6’ tall, that means 20’ for the Anchor.

Man I love treasure stories. Couple generations back we had a family member find some geology treasure. It has driven me all my life to locate some myself. lol

He’s right. It’s an anchor from a big wooden ship. Or Red Lobster decor.
