On a recent thread Resettozero happened to tweek newfreep on the fact that, dating from 1999, that screen name was now a little funny. And it dawned on me that I’d been looking forward to my 20^th anniversary of FReeperdom.

There were a lot of us that didn’t register until we had lurked a long time.

I actually used to visit a MS Chat room with Yellow Rose of Texas, Two-Thirds Vote Aye, Amom, Towanda and RAH in 98 while I lurked on the main site for about a year. Didn’t actually join an post on the site until May of 99 but had been “here” for most of ‘98.
