Jussie Smollett has some strong words for anybody who doubts he was the victim of a hate crime in Chicago last month.
The Empire actor tells Robin Roberts at Good Morning America in an advance preview of his upcoming interview that he’s “pissed off” by suggestions that he might not have been truthful in his police report.
“What is it that has you so angry? Is it the…attackers?” Roberts asked.
“Attackers, but it’s also the attacks,” Smollett replied. “It’s like, you know, at first, it was a thing of, like, ‘Listen, if I tell the truth then that’s it, ’cause it’s the truth.’ Then it became a thing of like, ‘Oh, how can you doubt that? Like, how do you — how do you not believe that? It’s the truth.’ And then it became a thing of like, ‘Oh, it’s not necessarily that you don’t believe that this is the truth, you don’t even want to see the truth.'”

The odds of two people attacking AN ACTOR in the exact ONE MINUTE that he’s off camera proclaiming ‘this is MAGA country’ IN CHICAGO and him STILL WEARING THE NOOSE when the police arrive later is beyond astronomical.
And then he WITHHOLDS his phone and EDITS HIS PHONE RECORDS.
Yeah, that is interesting. Like he gets “lynched” daily, doesn’t get upset or let it affect his immediate routine. He’s an LGBT rock.

Robin Roberts can feign empathy to the point of nausea triggering. These two are quite the pair.
Except that no video exists of the alleged perps entering that same blank area nor is anyone seen exiting that blank area. So if we believe Jussie, these attackers were already there waiting...with clothesline and hot sauce and didn't come from anywhere (except perhaps the Enterprise transporter room) and didn't leave the area (except by the same method they used to arrive).
Which is another ???
There was one interesting not from yesterday.
A reporter asked the Police Chief, IIRC, if Smollett was wearing the rope when he entered the building, and the Chief used the “Cannot comment on an ongoing investigation.” excuse to not answer directly...............
Hey, I believe it’s the truth that he’s pissed off that some people doubt his attack.
The story becomes more plausible as more facts are taken out. Everything beyond attacked on the street at 2:00 in the morning casts doubt.
1. Why would you use a Tabasco bottle? Those things have a such a small opening you would get approximately 0 bleach on somebody if you used one.
2. Why didn’t he see it when he showed the police the crime scene?
