Jussie Smollett has some strong words for anybody who doubts he was the victim of a hate crime in Chicago last month.
The Empire actor tells Robin Roberts at Good Morning America in an advance preview of his upcoming interview that he’s “pissed off” by suggestions that he might not have been truthful in his police report.
“What is it that has you so angry? Is it the…attackers?” Roberts asked.
“Attackers, but it’s also the attacks,” Smollett replied. “It’s like, you know, at first, it was a thing of, like, ‘Listen, if I tell the truth then that’s it, ’cause it’s the truth.’ Then it became a thing of like, ‘Oh, how can you doubt that? Like, how do you — how do you not believe that? It’s the truth.’ And then it became a thing of like, ‘Oh, it’s not necessarily that you don’t believe that this is the truth, you don’t even want to see the truth.'”

But, Jussie's narrative is a bit more extended. There was name-calling. Bleaching. Noose attachment. All in 60 seconds. Was this an "attack-attack?"
And, redacting the phone records? Not convincing.
The guy looks pretty good for taking a beating..

Where is the truth? That’s what we all want to know.
Let the investigation lead wherever evidence takes them.
It’s hard to believe that two guys, boasting of being MAGA and Trump supporters, were out on a cold night, on the off chance they encounter an actor they don’t like, so they can attack him.
But, let’s see where the evidence leads.
His attorney lets him go on national television, when this is an ongoing police investigation????

Danny strong needs to write some lines for him.
Oh, well, if he’s mad that I think he’s LIAR I guess I’m required to not think so... Sure, two guys were hanging around with a rope and some bleach at 2 in the morning, without appearing on any cameras, jumped him and claimed the CHICAGO is MAGA country and he fought them off without dropping his sandwich, and then walked home with the rope still around his neck.
It seems Jussie feels the need to get ahead of the CPD when they close this steaming pile of bullsiht out. Who better to carry your water than dusky Robin Roberts a fellow gay_o_la...
If it were the truth he wouyldn’t be angry at non-believers, just disappointed and saddened.

Sounds like my late brother, who was diagnosed as a sociopath at age 13 by psychiatrists. If he told you a story or excuse he would get very angry if you did not believe his lies, and there were many. I never believed anything he ever said. If he told you the sky was blue, you better check.

He will cooperate with media...but not the cops? Hmmm...
He did it for publicity for his failed show.
He needs to go to jail for it but won’t. Two get out of jail passes.
