I’ve lived through winters in three states and people in western Washington are the biggest babies by far.
All it takes is a an inch of snow to turn the doofs into ersatz preppers.

Here in Missouri we have the French Toast forecast. Milk, eggs and bread. If they add beer it it we know we are in for trouble.

Talking to a Seattle friend last night whose wife works at Fred Meyer. She came home shell-shocked. "This is why we have a full freezer and a generator, dear," I could hear him telling her in the background.

Our local (S.E. MO) is running an adshoppers going crazybattling each other for milk then a cut to the weather staff laughing and predicting snow.
It’s gonna be cold enough to freeze farts.
