Cruel trolls behind a torrent of social media abuse aimed at the Duchess of Sussex are unmasked today.
As Kensington Palace aides express mounting concern over the issue, The Mail on Sunday has traced some of those involved in a Twitter hate campaign against Meghan, including the use of the hashtag #MEGXIT.
While cultivating an image of respectability in their communities, the trolls secretly post a stream of bile against the Duchess. Even when confronted, most were unapologetic.

Just a matter of time...
The term “troll” seems to have been stretched very wide indeed. In internet terms, I’d thought of it as someone directly harassing someone else, especially anonymously.... i.e., one would have to be commenting directly on a person’s web page, Fakebook page, Twitter feed, etc. to be considered a “troll” to them.
But now it seems that anyone who posts any negative remark anywhere, even on one’s own blog, can be disparaged as a “troll”....
It’s all “academic” to me since I don’t have a blog or Twatter, etc. But if I comment on an article here on FR to say that Macron is a jerk or Merkel is unattractive, does that now make me a terrible “internet troll”?? Weird usage.
In FR terms, at least on the Nutwad Secret Thread aka Open Forum for the Disturbed, anyone who questions or dissents from the party line is a troll, at least according to the cultists who reside there.
well, yeah, but there we are getting into the realm of cultish mental illness and derangement, so “definitions” of words are lost....
I always find it outrageous that some ppl on FR can designate other FReepers “troll” merely for disagreement.
Pretty easy to do when you have multiple FR handles, right?

This lying Slander Movement isn’t all that lightly taken anymore, not in this era of the colossally Neanderthalian educated, roaming the keyboard in herds with nothing in their life but stirring up jealousy and rage, maybe worse.
The Hate Crowd would must justify their hate. They try casting themselves as innocuous, a purely innocent Voice merely and simply “disagreeing”, as some “alternative opinion”, while they compose Fiction and fuel hate against their target.
This coven of acne faced fat gourds reveled in their anonymous dedication to hate, and got caught.
The Duchess is safer for it. Thankfully.
