What????? So the sperm donor is at fault here? I just don’t see your reasoning. It’s not as if he had a one night stand with this woman... He sold his sperm to a sperm bank. End of story.

Dude fathered a child and walked away. Father abandoned mother and child. Father did not take responsibility. Intentionally.

Any father who does this should be taken out behind the barn and shot.

How do you figure he walked away - he have never come into contact with the woman in question. She BUYS the sperm from the sperm bank - SHE chooses to give birth (and in this case like many others - doing it in circumvention of God’s plan and model for childbearing). He helped provide what was essentially a “consumer product” for which there was a paying demand.

He didn't father a child. He donated his sperm, and did not know how, or even whether, it was going to be used or by whom. For all he knew, it could be discarded, used for research, or used to inseminate a married woman with an impotent husband (which is at arguably a good thing). The only thing he knew is that if it is used to impregnate a woman, it would be used on a woman who at least professes not to want him to be a father.

I don't like this stuff much, either, but I place more blame on the single mother recipient or on the sperm bank itself than on the guy who accepted their offer to buy his sperm.

That is one of the silliest statements ever..a man donate sperm to a sperm bank.. its the women that chosen to then get herself inseminated by it

If a women donated eggs to an egg bank and some other sterile woman chose to take that egg and have implanted would you say that the egg donor woman Had abandoned the child and should be taken out behind the barn and shot

Simple fact men donate sperm and women donate eggs.. In the past it was for couples where the man or the woman was sterile that would take advantage of these services

unfortunately now it's single women exploiting these services but you don't hold them responsible.

Yet it's the same women there make it all the choices but you don't hold them a response at all
