I suffered a detached retina last February and then again in April. I understand what the “darkening” is. When it happened, the eye appears as if a black spider web covered it and because I was out of town, I had to wait until I got back to Pittsburgh (4 day later). Over that period of time, sight became darker. It does require emergency surgery.
Thus far, this is a really good episode! Thank You for putting it here!

It must be disheartening at times for 45 to read some of the comments across the media from folks that are supposedly his supporters. Cringe-worthy.
To think of the life he’s left behind and risked everything (his family) for a bunch of ungrateful ingrates.
It ticks me off and I’ve jerked against my chains far too often when I hear the whiners and backbiters.
Many of these small minded people are so narrowly focused on just the US, they have thought nothing of just how large the chessboard 45 is having to deal with at the geopolitical level, which does affect the timing of things at the micro level.
Not you BR, but folks need to expand their thinking to a 40,000 ft view from time to time and look at the bigger picture. It’s us, but the ain’t us affects us.
