There are a number of good people on the Supreme Court - I can’t help but wonder what they know, and why they would go along with the secrecy. People are demanding to know how many judges there are currently working for the SCOTUS.

Mine I bought does not say UL approved..but its not what I bought it for. I didn't realize the tester came with it. And I also wasn't going to hang it up on a wall. (mine does hang if wanted) Some say the batteries aren't snug enough for hanging...that too isn't my concern. I see why you ask if its important to you. Not a problem.

Thanks..I always worry some posting these type of post. Didn't know if they get on peoples nerves....but I like to know people are thinking the same thoughts as me. I'm not alone in my thoughts. Most don't go to forums as ours to see the common worries and thoughts our Train has and shares every day.

Hi Rusty!

Just been busy today doing some Financial calculations and cooking. Two of my favorite things. I knew if I got on FR first thing this morning it would be two hours before I realized I hadn’t gotten anything done :-)

As it was, instead I got obsessed with updating my retirement spreadsheets. Hubby wants to quit work early again and wants to know how much money we have. I created a spreadsheet that will calculate how much we will have every year, depending on an estimated inflation and interest rate on Savings, then adding in Social Security in another 10 years for me, 13 years for him. But then I had to go to my Social Security spreadsheet to find out how much he would get in Social Security since he worked in additional couple of years now. I’m a nerd, I love doing stuff like this. And then I try to figure out other ways to do it to verify the calculations.

The sad thing is, if he were to continue to work and paying at the max in Social Security he would pay in another $100,000+. With employer matching that’s over 200,000. But he would only get $217 more a month. Calculating that out too if he were to live to the average age of 83, he would only get $40,000. It is so terribly socialized! Everyone here gets it, but you try to explain that to anybody not on Free Republic and they don’t get it.

Then I got to cook a bunch of mushrooms, peppers, and onions and freeze them for various uses.

Now, what have I missed? :-)
