Dolly knows 1st hand how destructive to your home raccoons can be, tore hers up.
As for what they do when there is lots of snow on ground, have to look up what they do in the winter.
The wind is just terrible right now.
Hubby took me outside to show me 3 very large Ponderosa pines that are leaning.
With all the rain on top of the snow we had, the ground is saturated and he’s worried they may just topple over taking out power lines, fence and neighbors little trailer.
YIKES!!! I sure hope not.
Traditionally, raccoons prefer heavily wooded areas with access to trees, water and abundant vegetation. There, they make their dens in the hollow parts of trees as well as abandoned burrows, traveling up to 18 miles to forage for food.
Raccoons are extremely adaptable. They are often found in suburban and urban areas, making their homes in man-made structures like attics, sewers, barns and sheds. In urban areas, raccoons tend to stay closer to their dens with a range of only about 1 mile, depending on their age and sex.
Raccoons are highly intelligent and curious creatures, but they can also be a nuisance to any homeowner. These nocturnal mammals can destroy gardens, make a mess by tipping over garbage cans, and can cause structural damage in search of food.
Good satire.
Democrat hypocrisy on display.
Why was it okay for Michael Jackson to run around in Whiteface but not okay for Governor Northam to wear Blackface to a party?
Not to mention the issue of democrat icon and former Ku Klux Klan officer, senator Robert C. Byrd!
Did you get your information from “Coonman” Northam?
Thank you. Got distracted. (Nap— didn’t sleep well last night)
Involved in the pizza industry ?
Why yes I did!
I know how they are in urban areas very well. :-)

“She’s obviously the one who wears the athletic supporter in that family.”
LOL, good one!
Hey, that’s neat, we had Ponderosa Pines just a little ways down the hill. Actually the area we were in was misnamed The Ponderosa, because Ponderosa Pines didn’t grow at that elevation. We had Jeffrey Pines instead.
Beautiful trees, give them a hug for me. Sure hope you don’t have to take them out. Do you have a lumberjack nearby?

Gee, says they were ALL DEMOCRATS.
Must be a typo.
Justin Fairfax's defense to Vanessa Tyson's sexual assault accusation is that the WaPo refused to run the story.
If that's true, I look forward to seeing what accusation could fail to meet the standards of the paper that smeared Kavanaugh with zero evidence.
Fairfax says "inconsistencies" but the only corroboration Ford offered for her vague and inconsistent claims was alleged therapist notes nobody else could see that she admitted had the wrong number of attackers.
Good enough for WaPo when the target is a Republican.
We do have folks who remove trees but they are costly, not sure what we are going to do.
