Roger Stone's hearing is over — judge said she's considering imposing a gag order, but hasn't made up her mind yet. She said she understood Stone's desire to tell his story, but she had to ensure a fair trial: "This is a criminal proceeding and not a public relations campaign..."

Roger Stone first update done, the judge says she hasn’t decided if she’s going to put a gag order and gives the defense and prosecution until next friday to put in written submissions whether they want a gag order.

Asst US attorney says he sees Roger Stone trial taking place "somewhere in the fall," maybe October. Judge Jackson said she was thinking July or August, "I'm not saying the fall is unreasonable." Scheduling will depend on defense's review of discovery, pre-trial motions, etc.......NIKK..from the media.

I remember the implicit, but not explicit, talk from April Glaspie which led to Iraq's invasion of Kuwait and then the coalition Gulf War 1. Bush 1 was really trying to get to the New World Order.

The winning powers, especially Great Britain, really messed up the Middle East after WW1. They carved up the Ottoman Empire without regard to tribal or religious regions. The world has suffered from these untenable divisions ever since.
