What do y’all think about having her 1984 book review on Saturdays? Saturday’s on here are pretty quiet, as is the political scene. So it might be a good way to keep our conversation on this thread but not have it interfere too much.

On the other hand, the thread is quiet on Saturday so people are off doing their own thing.

They see him as vulnerable knowing he can’t shut the government down again at this point and will probably do an emergency proclamation. they will use that as their impeachment material. Romney and the other never Trumpers now have McConnell on board. What was the point of holding the Senate? McConnell should be run out of office. There are no loyal republican soldiers in the Senate. President Trump stands along except for Pompeo.

The sausage gravy is in a commercial can in the bulk area. No mixing just warm up. It’s a lot of gravy LOL. We’ve taken it to church for breakfast but have found between the two of us we devide by four — freeze three and eat the other. Sure beats cooking sausage and making the gravy. P worked where they fixed a couple of the yuge cans daily. Ours is on the bottom shelf of the bulk department.

We have a small bulk store just over the river at the top of the knob. It sells the beans in containers or by the pound. (Also spices, flours and assorted dry goods. Oh and Amish butter, cheese and noodles). It may be available in groceries but I’ve never looked for it there. May be available on line.

Someone on my husbands class e-mail list asked another...do you think it was smart of President Trump to run on the slogan "Build The Wall". I had been trying my best to keep quiet...but I just couldn't hold back any longer.

His last sentence....Do you feel Trump would have been smarter and better off today if he had talked about border security rather than his political slogan Build that Wall?

I posted the statutory authority that could potentially be used to support construction of the wall, and which would not require the declaration of a national emergency, is 10 U.S.C. § Section 284....

There are several ways our President can have the Wall construction continued.....Millions voted for President Trump because "Build The Wall" was his top goal and he knew it was many American's too. To think our President Could have been ......."Smarter"............One has to ask.....Who won the Election and with what slogan?
