There’s an arrest recorded for him on my local PD’s website. The charge was “assault on a child under 12.”
I am with the guy.

Where was security? People wonder why malls are closing and there are no stores in certain sections of town.
If I was the guy I would be fearing for my life.
I suspect he was arrested to avoid riots. Later the charges will be quietly dropped.
The people that should be charged are the girls mother and father and the store should be liable.
How big do you have to be to stab someone. She could have been carrying a knife and some of the mob probably were. Looked totally like self defense to me.

Without the tape, it does sound like a 51yo bully just upped and decked an ‘innocent’ 11 yo with dozens of witnesses.....etc etc
Cops should be taking that tape while it is still ‘hot’ and arrest anyone that was/is part of it.

No jury in their right mind is going to buy that he was defending himself from 99 pound kid with no weapons.
You have an absolute right to self defense. A gang of 12 or 10 year olds could have inflicted serious damage to him.

Impossible to know the whole story or how long he was engaged before the video started.
What about those who assaulted the man prior to the man defending himself against that loud violent mob?

I can’t fathom being an 11 year old and being shoved by an adult easily 3 times my size, that my gut reaction would be to charge at them...
Seriously you have to be a special kind of stupid, or raised without any sense of reality, to behave that way
So Let me see.. Man 51 is being taunted by many young people. He was surrounded. One youth charges and he shoves her back. Then she charges trying to slug him in the face and he KO’d her. Case closed! Man gets out of jail....
I’ve looked at that video several times. The man walked into that cat fight of his own free will. Was he looking to break up a fight? I think so. That was his first mistake. His second and worst mistake? Punching out that child. He will be charged and he will be found guilty.
