Houston beats Indy by 5 and threatening to make it more. Indy is looking better now that Luck is healthy, but he is still a turnover machine. JJ Watt and Clowney will own Indy

Seattle beats Dallas by same spread as week 3 (11) - NFC-E was going to be WA until A Smith injury, if they had not won Division, Cowboys would not even be in playoffs. On the flip side you have the Seahawks who lead the league in turnover differential, and are running the ball down everyone's throats. Their defense was one of the few to contain Mahome's this year, and the win over the Cowboys in week 3 was BEFORE they figured out their winning strategy.

Chargers know everything Ravens want to do and how they do it thanks to week 16, and adjust accordingly. Chargers by 3. Chargers were a brainfart away (they did not think they had a chance at 1, so were playing not to get hurt. Kicking themselves after Seattle offed KC late Sunday W16) from being the 1 seed in the AFC, and are quite frankly just the better team than the Ravens when everything is on the line.

Foles is on a rolls (again), Philly wins a tight one at the wire by 2. The Eagles still have problems with the Cowboys, but managed to win their last 3, including 2 against playoff teams in the Rams and Texans. As the old saying goes, they are getting hot at the right time, and they have a lot of playoff experience from last year.

Antonio Brown refused to practice in Week 17 after heated dispute with Ben Roethlisberger
The Steelers might be having some problems with their star wide receiver

It’s tempting to tune in just to keep tabs on the social engineering in the commercials. You’d go home sober if you had to drink for every straight, normal white man/woman couple. I am pulling for the best man in football, Nicholas Foles! He is an incredible witness to Christ.

Disgraceful

This IS a disgrace. These posters disgrace themselves, their families, their country and this forum. Some of these people are disruptive types, I know that for a fact from knowing them and smelling them. Others are imps (disruptive imps) who have no values.

One gets the impression that if NFL players started slitting throats of disabled vets, these vacuous losers STILL wouldn't be able to stop watching their precious. ridiculous game. It's *that* important to them.

You shouldn't allow this Jim. Can't understand why you do. It's wrong and beneath you and FR. Look at the very first post... total trash.

These people are trashing you... and us.

And you’d be really wasted drinking at every well-to-do, nuclear black family with a luxury SUV!

You’d need a stomach pump for all the black father, beautiful white wife combos. The marketing departments around the country must all have year end goals of number of mixed race couples in their commercials.

Funny, all the NFL Haters missed The Hollywood Reporter story that says The NFL "...has stopped two years of ratings declines. Through 16 weeks of the regular season, NFL games across all its TV partners — CBS, Fox, NBC, ESPN and NFL Network — are averaging 15.82 million viewers, up about 6 percent from the 2017 season. The NFL was easily the top draw on broadcast TV even in its recent down period, but as most entertainment programming has declined (see below), the rebound makes football's relative position that much stronger."

Of course a lot of this is due to the very, very few instances of players taking a knee combined with the networks not showing the playing of the National Anthem as a regular part of the game broadcast. Yet in any instance, the vast majority of players did not and have not taken a knee in protest in any of the past three seasons since Kaepernick showed himself to be the perfect ass.

However, the major reason for the Haters jumping onto this thread is that they cannot stand to have anyone disagree with their particular view to the extent that they want to deny free speech to anyone who is not in lock step with them. While I will fight to the death to defend their freedom of speech, I will not lift a finger to acknowledge them or reply to their rank comments on this thread because like all bullies, it is attention and the power to deny that they crave.

So, it is Wildcard Weekend and here are my picks:

Got to back Allegra's Texicans even if it is pipe dream to even think about an All-Texas Superbowl--

And must go with My Boys even if I fear another Dak Prescott/Jason Garrett letdown--

Believe the Bolts will come out on top of the Ravens--

The Iggles finally get grounded by Da Bears--

So, if I am 100% correct in the above... drinks on the house and give the bill to Big--

If I am 100% wrong... ... all my drinks on the house and send the bill to Big--

Bottom line, Big... gets the bill!

Here goes - common guys, make my day...

SATURDAY, JAN 5, 2019

But very close - could be an upset.

Both teams should mostly pass the ball on offense.

Another close one - could be an upset.

Seahawks should mostly pass. Cowboys should mostly run.

SUNDAY, JAN 6, 2019

Yet another close one which could be an upset.

Ravens should mostly run. Trouble for the Ravens right there because playoff teams are always wanting to pass. Watch the Ravens' QB - if his feet start going up and down like pistons, like a little kid when he has to go pee - if you see that too much, the Ravens could be in a pickle.

Bears should stomp and shred the Eagles.

Bears should have a balanced attack. Eagles should pass almost all the time.

Taking a knee only works when it gets televised. Once that ends, the knuckleheads that want to do that get a sharp jerk on their most important appendage by their wives who remind them of where their priorities reside. This little commie tantrum is over.
