According to senate sources, Schumer is counseling (begging) Pelosi not to “f_ck this up” by demanding more than the 3 week spending agreement.

McConnell has told Trump this move will put it back on Pelosi and still leave him “close enough to see Christmas,” whatever that means.

If the gov't is re-opened for 3 wks w/o funding, @realDonaldTrump will be able to give the SOTU as planned on 29 Jan...& if, after doing as Pelosi insisted (open gov't 1st then negotiate) & she STILL does not give him the wall funding, he can & WILL declare a nat'l emergency.
