I have heard numerous times that the president can build the wall with this, and with that, yet he doesn’t use these options. I thought he had said the military could build the wall....so why isn’t the military building the wall? Honestly, it makes me feel like they’re floating a bunch of trial balloons sometimes.

It’s the same when the caravans are heading north. I’ve heard several times that those countries are cut off from aid they receive from the US. Are they cut off, or not? How many times can they be cut off.

Honestly, if there’s a way he can get this much needed wall built WITHOUT the dems, he really needs to just do it. And if he can’t do it by these other means, people need to stop saying he can.

These people are working on a documentary to explain the takeover by SJWs and the left....look them up on FB. They’re called The Enemies Within.

I'm going to stick my neck out here. I honestly haven't a clue to our President's mind on this Wall issue. Sometimes I think he gets to certain points in order for us to investigate ALL the ways one can accomplish the goal. He probably has it ALL figured out and is just letting the different processes take place. I get the feeling often...he has the final move figured out weeks or months ahead. He sits back and lets it all play out.

I hope you’re right, NIKK. I just get a little frustrated when I read that he can fund the wall this way, he can fund the wall that way, then nothing comes of it. Like the aid to those back-stabbing little countries....have they been cut off? Is it just talk or are they no longer receiving help from the American taxpayers?

I often ask myself...will it be better that he gets the Wall through Congress or use his power? There's a lot to gain by getting it through Congress...After all most everything he has accomplished seems to be through EO...and Congress..but not nearly as much as he would have liked. He really needs Congress to pass bills in order for them to stand...it seems courts step in through EO.

I think so too. It does seem like he sets traps for people. And lets them walk right into it. While they think they are winning.

In reading the art of the deal, he said he never gets stuck on One path. Is always flexible and then when things change he changes with it. But he keeps the end goal in sight but he doesn’t get locked into one thing if a better opportunity arises.

Well, that makes sense. I’ll keep in mind that things can always be changing.

As an aside, does anyone know the reason for all of the sudden layoffs in the news media today?

When I found out I was pregnant with my younger son, I told my doctor it was unfortunate timing because my husband and I had just separated. My doctor suggested I get a D&C, code for abortion. I told him no thanks. When I went in for my 4 month exam, he told me there was no heartbeat, the baby was dead, and I would need to get a D&C. I was skeptical, so told my doctor if the baby was dead my body would reject it and I would have a miscarriage. My son is now a loving 40 year old man, with two great children. That doctor thought he knew what was best for me and even tried to trick me.

My oldest son had back surgery that went bad, had a second surgery that didn’t fix it, then shortly after that broke his foot and has 11 screws and plates in it. To make it worse, he had to put more pressure on his back walking with the cast.

He is in horrible pain constantly, but that’s what he says, that he looks fine, so people have a hard time believing he’s in so much pain.

Sad that the Catholic church is treating their students like this. If they were illegals that had committed a real crime they would be falling all over themselves to protect them.

I’ve seen many opinions like this, I wish it was true. may be true. But I don’t get how, when the President has legal authority to do something, it can still be taken to court and some liberal judge can put out a national injunction stopping him.

No, they weren’t cut off. In fact we’re giving them more money to create jobs in those countries.

It’s amazing how unempathetic some people can be. I guess they’re just lost in their own world.

Last year I went to a funeral that was held in one of our beautiful Catholic churches downtown. As I sat there communion started and only a hand full of people went up for communion. I was shocked because years ago my husbands family were mainly Catholics. NOT today. Most all of the children that are now from Catholics families have left the church. And the church was 3/4's full and only a hand full took communion. The Catholic schools in the city are few. What is happening in Covington actually doesn't surprise me. I don't see the Bishop bending. He's probably getting his talking points from someone over him. He has nothing to lose.
