At 11:06 am, the president’s motorcade left the White House with the pool in tow. Destination unknown.
Print pool did not see the president.

Subject: In-town Pool Report #2: MLK memorial
We are at the MLK memorial.
The president arrived at 11:12 with the vice president.
POTUS wished the pool “good morning” before a moment of silence at a wreath laying.
Thanked us for being here after in very brief remarks.
Didn’t take shutdown questions at the end.
At 11:15 am we were on the move to departure.
We are rolling now in vans.
Subject: In-Town Pool Report #3: Quote and return to the White House
At 11:22, the mororcade returned to the White House.
Pooler did not see the president enter the building.
Following up on report #2, the president said after wreath laying: “Good morning, everybody. Great day. Beautiful day. Thank you for being here. Appreciate it.”
He was at the memorial for approximately two minutes.
That was a quick excursion.
I missed what this was all about. Could you explain it to me? I was just watching Fox News and they showed what they said was a full video and all I could see was a young kid staring at the Indian playing drums. So what was the big deal?
I usually layer, that way if I have to take my sweater off I have a tee shirt on at least. I can tie the sleeves of a sweatshirt hoodie around my waist in case I need it. Had to do that when I lived in the bay area because it got cold at night even in the summer. I sure do miss that here in Texas.
Wouldn’t that be a refreshing change of events?
Just heard on of the chaperones on the radio explaining what happened, a very despicable and dangerous smearing of these young boys.
She explained why they didn’t just up and move, were showing respect for a native American elder.
They had no idea who he was and that he had an agenda.
Phillips needs to pay a price for his part in this FAKE news, right?!
Darn. I thought I won the RBG pool! I hear Fox accidentally put up a death announcement for RBG this morning. Well, the day is still young.

Maybe they know something that is being withheld but that was their way of letting us know or somebody just got fired.
