We are at the MLK memorial.
The president arrived at 11:12 with the vice president.
POTUS wished the pool “good morning” before a moment of silence at a wreath laying.
Thanked us for being here after in very brief remarks.
Didn’t take shutdown questions at the end.
At 11:15 am we were on the move to departure.
We are rolling now in vans.
Subject: In-Town Pool Report #3: Quote and return to the White House
At 11:22, the mororcade returned to the White House.
Pooler did not see the president enter the building.
Following up on report #2, the president said after wreath laying: “Good morning, everybody. Great day. Beautiful day. Thank you for being here. Appreciate it.”
He was at the memorial for approximately two minutes.
