In fact, intelligence community sources with access to this information tell me that more than 100 migrants from “countries of interest” were apprehended between from 2012 through 2017 at the border or en route who were on U.S. terrorism “watch lists”— namely, the Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment (TIDE), or the Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB).

Much of this kind of information is classified, since all such encounters spark law enforcement investigations and intelligence-gathering that could be ruined by public disclosure. But quite a few instances over the years have become public to include border-crossers connected to al-Shabaab of Somalia, Hezbollah of Lebanon, and Harkat-al-Jihad-al-Islami of Bangladesh.

Maggie says the State Department says it is untrue. Looks like she didn’t ask the right source. But she probably has a friend in foggy bottom that will tell her what she wants to hear. Evil, evil people don’t care if we have terror attacks here.

Will be praying that it’s not really cancer then. We had a friend in his seventies undergo radiation for it, and it was pretty tough on him. Add about 20 years and it would be even more difficult. So I don’t blame you!

The Trump White House maintained its hard line on funding for a border wall in a letter Sunday to congressional leaders, demanding $5.7 billion for construction of a barrier as the partial government shutdown heads into its third week after weekend talks.

The wall is “central to any strategy,” Russell T. Vought, acting director of the Office of Management and Budget, wrote, asking for funds for “234 miles of new physical barrier.”
