Have you seen the design for the Bollard Fence Design (steel slat picket-fence) that DJT has been talking up this week ? What do you think of it ? How penetrable ?
The design features a see through capability, which has plusses and minuses. Steel like spikes crown each picket. Costs would be considerably less. Construction time minimized. Trump calls it beautiful. It certainly is more appealing than a concrete wall.

It is extremely easy to penetrate, but I won’t say how.
No wall is designed to stop EVERY ONE. It is meant to stop 95%+ of illegal migrants who without a wall would just walk over the border. To stop 100% migrants will require much more expensive design.

As I’ve said before. Utilize used oil field well pipe. 6 or 8 diameter, lean 10 degrees south and fill with concrete. 30 ft tall, 10 ft deep in concrete. 4 inch gaps.
You jack would be useless as would a cutting torch.

It is extremely easy to defeat. Some smart mexican will figureit out and these style fences will be totally useless.
You try to throw a rope up 30 feet with enough weight on the other side for the weight on your side not to drag it back down to your side. You basically have to throw 60-feet of rope straight up to where 30-feet of it clears the top of the wall and falls to the other side. That is a lot of weight.
If you have a bow and arrow, you could fire an arrow over the wall trailing a light cord that you could use to attach to 60-feet of rope and hoist it over.
Your average illegal immigrant is not going to show on the border with a compound bow, 100-feet of cord and 60-feet of rope. Just not gonna happen.
I will take this wall all day and every day to dramatically lower the flow of illegals into the country. It is a great wall.
The wall/barrier is not a stand alone security system. It has to be patrolled. Again it is force multiplier not a stand alone system. All of the talk about ladders and what all is not relevant.
Beyond that, I have yet to see a picture of an illegal immigrant using a rope to scale a border fence. Ladders yes, because a lot of fences are only 15-feet high, not 30-feet high. I would to see a photo of an illegal scaling a border fence using rope. I just don’t think they think that far ahead or come that prepared. Most of them just come with the shirts on their back.

Walls, doors etc are not full proof. The are intended to SLOW down the perp until LEO arrives. They cannot STOP a perp by themselves.
Ask the Han if walls work.
