It is my speculation that the Post Office , and the Art Department in particular, is one of the agencies which contains and is still shot through with Derps - especially at the upper levels. It is in a position to exercise its propaganda power. It needs cleaning out, as do all the agencies, but this one does not receive the urgent public attention as many of the others have needed and gotten. Perhaps halting the selling of enormously popular and beloved Christmas stamps may bring out this need.
Several months ago I did a multi-part series on former White House lawyer, Greg Craig's wife, Derry Noyes. She is an artist for the US Postal Service. Her father was the creator of the IBM "look" in the 60's. He was most noted for his work in the design of the IBM Selectric typewriter. He was an enormously gifted architect and artist. Other family members seem to also be quite talented.
Derry Noyes Craig did NOT create the blue and gold EIDS stamp, but apparently that art department seems to be rife with Derps. Great artists - but ones, but who are willing to issue propaganda. That is only my guess, because I have not dug deeply on it, to learn who they all are.
However, I did learn the following about the Blue EIDS stamp:
"...THE FIRST EIDS STAMP, FEATURING GOLD CALLIGRAPHY ON A BLUE BACKGROUND, WAS ISSUED ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2001. A new EID stamp with gold calligraphy against a reddish background debuted in 2011 and was reissued with a green background in 2013. I'm also not liking the striking out of the "Forever" on the left bottom corner. That's almost too blatant! But we have come to expect that "in your face" behavior from these people, have we not? To me, the fact that the head of that art department allowed the striking out of the word "Forever" so it in effect reads, "USA Not Forever" almost proves the premise that the USPS art department is Derp Territory. These things have to go through a LOT of screening and approvals to get out to the public, is my understanding. But I could be wrong,

I recall that Trump was really scoping out publicly the idea to run in 2012. Perhaps that meeting you speak of was held then. Perhaps they determined that 2012 was too soon. The American People may not have been thoroughly sick of the Derp nonsense yet... and like puppies, had to have their noses rubbed in it a few times more. Just a thought.
