IMO. Worth a dig. No pun intended.
One person pointed out that this could be connected to the removal of confederate statues. Many were removed from cemeteries. Were they markers of some sort? Entrance markers?
Not yet backing this theory, but definitely not ruling it out. Trump visited Arlington last week. Unexpectedly. That strikes me as significant.
Another related theory floated is that the Old Guard who protect the Tomb of the Unknowns are in on the evil. I’m definitely not buying that theory. (Again, I could be wrong, but my bet would be that the soldiers who guard the Tomb are patriots and no part of the DS.)
*IF* Arlington is where children and other victims are buried, I agree, very sick. But I also find it comforting that they are with our honored soldiers.

I doubt if they would take the time to bury their victims, as that would indicate some level of respect for the remains. More likely, they would just dispose of the bodies like trash.
