Based on the cars, I am thinking late 40's. LA looks very different today. Most of the houses and buildings shown are long gone.

At 4:31 there is a billboard advertisement for RCA Victor Television sets.
From Wiki:
Following the adoption of National Television System Committee (NTSC) recommended standards, the FCC authorized the start of commercial television broadcasts on July 1, 1941. I think I would have liked it better there despite not having the gadgets and technology even though I was born in 71.
PM has always been a favorite of mine since I discovered summer reruns as a kid. I rarely got to watch them. Mom’s soaps and my sister being herself and thinking she was the perfect princess.

I watch an amazing video like this and wonder about the people we see, most are gone. I see the 2 girls crossing the street and one says something to another......I wonder what she said? I see the man waving....how did his life turn out? And finally, I am reminded of the words in the book of Ecclesiastes where Solomon says something like.....”The generation that hasn’t been born yet will be forgotten by the generations that come after it.”
Without God, it’s all meaningless, life is just a cycle.
