The thousands of Americans that are killed by illegals don’t count one bit. How about they say we should quit doing business with Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Etc?

That sounds a lot like the reports in New York City, where people are brutalized and nobody even opens their shutters. Much less comes out and helps.

Perhaps as we are more urbanized more cities will be just like New York. And everyone will be afraid

But I’d like to see someone try that in East Tennessee. About 75% of the people are carrying at any one time, the perpetrator won’t live very long.

A major reversal? It’s only a 6-month suspension, not a permanent cut in the gas tax by 50%. Which is what is actually needed.

I think you were right Rob, it’s too late to undo all the insanity done by years of liberalism. Even here, the Democrats complain loudly when anyone wants to cut taxes by any amount. Or hold the budget to current levels, which they call a cut.

My cat Sammy will not stop eating on our plastic tree.
He continually throws up if he's anywhere near the tree.
He can not be trusted and we don't want to close the door to our tree area.

I don’t know NIKK, cats are notoriously stubborn. My big Persian male wouldn’t quit eating tinsel or Easter grass, so I had to just quit having it in the house. He could have gotten into some bad stomach or intestinal problems by eating it. It’s weird some of the habits they get into that just don’t make any sense to us.

The only thing I can think of is put something on it so it tastes bad. Like that stuff they used to put on children’s thumbs to make them quit sucking them. I’m not sure what would taste bad to a cat - maybe some kind of peppermint or sweet taste?

Cats hate citrus!
You could try leaving some orange or lemon skins around the tree, ot dot them with cloves like they did in the old days and actually hane them in the tree.

Last resort, there us a spray called “NO!” that is used to keep them off the furniture, etc.
