Another thing I was musing about while AFK yesterday....

Remember the discussion about W having his tailor flown in on a private jet right before the death of GHWB? There was a lot of speculation about whether this was a sign that the derps planned the death or that he was already dead, etc.

But think about this. WHY would he have to fly in a tailor on a private jet from overseas? (Malaysia, IIRC) Is it like this guy is the only possible person on earth who could make a nice suit???? Are there no good tailors in TX? In the entire USA? And what a ginormous expense for a suit! I don’t know what a round trip on a private jet goes for, but add that to the cost of the materials and labor and that’s one heckuva expensive suit.

So I was thinking about what reason there might be for this. Maybe there was something or someone besides the tailor on that plane. I was thinking maybe assassin? That was the first idea I came up with but maybe some other FReeQs would have better ideas. Or maybe it was a “thing”. Evidence, info or something that needed to be handed off in person. Comms are difficult for the DS these days.

Thinking a bit more, I also considered the possibility that maybe the purpose of the flight was not to bring something to W, but to take something away. Or someone.

Maybe I’ve gotten so far out of the box that I can’t even see the box any more. Or maybe I’m flailing around near the target.

I’d love to hear what other FReeQs think about this. Maybe some better ideas, or expansion on these ideas.

If Bush43 was in a hurry, there is likely a list of “cleared” tailors that can be contracted quickly without any USSS rigmarole. Bush43 may have wanted a “famous” tailor for his suit.

Maybe Lord & Taylor employees weren’t available or *couldn’t pass the background check*?

$25,000 for a suit is fairly normal for these guys. It goes up rapidly from there.

I agree that the tailor being flown in - and thanks for details, I didn’t realize the dude was flown in from a foreign country - is very weird.

GHWB was ancient, they must have known he was close to death (if the regular story line is correct), and why on God’s green earth would he need a new suit? Guys’ rich, has tons of suits, never goes any where. So right before dying, he has to spend countless thousands on a new suit. And a photo of the fitting, even. And made it into news. Every time one of the Bushes gets fitted for a new suit there’s a photo taken of it, and it goes into the news?

Come on.... there was something else going on, some meaning to this, message, or something.

So, I tried 3 searches to find the recent photo, to see if it which Bush it was.

Could find no photo. Hmm.

Concerning the GWB tailor, I found that odd, over the top and ridiculous. BTW he was from Pakistan. HMMMMMM How would GWB get connected to a Pakistani tailor? But I’m not a big deal so I don’t know.

Oh I think that tailor flying in was hinky as all getout...but could be almost anything. Maybe the tailor is GWB's controller, message from his boss at CHAOS....
Whatever it was, it didn't have to do with a new suit. JMO
