Veteran programming executive Suzanne Scott was named chief executive of the Fox News, part of the continuing reorganization of 21st Century Fox as it prepares to sell the bulk of its assets to Walt Disney Co. Scott will at present become the only female executive in charge of a major U.S. TV-news network.
She will report to Lachlan Murdoch and Rupert Murdoch, who will lead the recalibrated parent company. Fox News already generates a substantial part of 21st Century Fox’s finances and will perhaps be the largest financial contributor to the parent corporation should the proposed sale proceed. The elder Murdoch will continue to work as executive chairman of Fox News, which includes the operations of the Fox Business Network.
Scott will be the first female chief executive of the Fox News operations, and has worked on the programming side for years.

I’m just frustrated about all of this. It’s just another build up to a let down. Yeah, I get the change of plans in war thing. But it seems like nothing ever comes out. Seems like Q was building us up all day (and yesterday) for the big week and now....next week? maybe?

Well, but for a couple of shows, I’ve been avoiding Fox since they decided to start calling elections while people were still voting. The last straw - they’ve been drifting left for a while. They’re compromised no doubt.
Management put their thumb down on Hannity tonight, I’m guessing. I’ll continue to not watch them much any more. Their conservative side has shrunk to about 10% of their broadcasting, roughly matching the rest of the DNC media.
