I want to say of the picture that it’s sterile surroundings and floor placement lights are kinda sorta features of China, and the halfway up decorated tree means halfway through December, or halfway through Christmas (or, the 12 days of Christmas, beginning on Christmas Eve). The spray of lights reflected on the floor look like a bombshell.

I had originally missed the glass shield; saw it but didn't register it at first.

Perhaps... not overly convincing. It is notable that a glass shield was erected in the first place; maybe that is standard these days. Happy Christmas Mr. President.
Trump’s statement is clearly a broader reference to other bad things that have happened in our country.
The statement is entirely consistent with what Q has said about the need to protect the public from knowing about the really bad stuff.
