I don't know if GHWB coined the phrase "New World Order" but he certainly popularized it. It surely meant rule by the elite, whether herditary or financially elite.

Dems would probably love a govt shut down on Dec. 7. Then the lame duck Republicans in the House won't have any chance of accomplishing anything before they are the minority. Thinking about that, RiNOS would probably like it too. All the election losers can go home sooner (maybe still home) and the winners can blame the shut down (blame Trump) for not being able to do anything.

When the Dems lost both houses, their lame duck session passed Obamacare. They stick together and know how to get things done.

I thought it was definitely different when I saw that top, must be a youth thing.

Our son, who now lives in Vancouver, said you had a mail carrier strike.

Hubby had sent a letter and it took over 2 weeks for son to get.
