I woke up and found Trump’s Tweet about “two can play at that game” kind of juvenile and unhelpful. But, in light of this message, what it really says is that Trump is a few steps ahead and knows how the game is being played and what cards he holds.
Not knowing the cards held? Yes, the tweet looks bad, but if he’s got four aces it’s a sign that he’s in control.
Knowing how much bluster, but how little action there is with House investigations, it might actually serve us well in 2020 that the Dems control the House. They’ll just look silly, and they aren’t going to pass a single law. LOL, wait til the public starts to figure that one out....LOL
re #2445 - the resignations of Gowdy + Goodlatte has been a subject of “Q” posts and remains a quandary for me.
Maybe this post #2445 puts more in context with spotlight.
It has been said on “Q” posts, Gowdy is a patriot with a question about what future roll he might serve. The joint statement that “Q” posts to now suggests to me that the good guys in F-I/D-J were waking hand-in-hand with the chairmen.
Now there will be no history nor associated individuals to muddy the waters when succeeding events proceed. The path outlined by “Q” today is the same as before except that it’s more prominent that they’re gone.
So basically Pelosi & Co. have signed up to now begin investigating ... themselves!
That’s been the implication I’ve read into the prior history + posts of “Q” and it seems more clear + distinct with current events.
What are Pelosi & Schiff going to do? NOT investigate things that will come into play? That would seem to be quite a predicament. If REPs were still leading investigations they would continue to be targets like Devin Nunes etc. The DEMs think they get to pick and choose what they’ll investigate ala “emoluments clause” or Trump’s taxes. Rather they’ve signed up to investigate the results from unsealed indictments and the underlying subject matters ... without the bullseyes.
At least that’s my read this morning ... TBD ;)
There has to be a purging of state county GOP party leaders. Conservatives must run for precinct committeeman positions.
They select candidates, deny campaign money and advertising for those who manage to win their primaries.

P.S. In another vein, I loved seeing all the VOTE VOTE VOTE’s. Part of me wonders, though, if we needed a little more PRAY PRAY PRAY. I am reminded as I type this, that the battle is not with flesh and blood, but against principalities, and powers, and spiritual wickedness in high places.

***** no idea I am still waiting on Georgia vs Hollywood for Governor. Keep in mind and this is not a black/white thingy.
Hollywood has poured millions in Georgia elections. They are trying to sell it as Hollywood of the south. We are sick of them.
I will bow to your expertise there. You may be surprised here at the number of our more laid back professional women. No makeup, good jeans and nice blouse, nice boots, blazer or nicer jacket (one of mine has fringe to one daughter's disdain) on a hook behind the door for dressier meetings. My hair's usually brushed and pulled back in a braid because I rode a Harley to work 12 mo/yr. Daughter in the oil bidness keeps her hair in a short, wash, comb and go bob style. Regular part of her job is inspecting well property so she has to be ready for windy open jeep rides (she is an executive, a VP, but must commute to work in either her jeep or 4wd lifted F250 for work requirements.) The days she loves best are when the boss says she can take the helicopter so hairstyle has to withstand the headset and wind. We haven't seen a big hair day in our lives. Not that they aren't out there, but fewer than you might expect :)
And absolutely some of that depends on the profession. In travel for business I had to represent my company in the northeast and midwest on occassion. Those of us who traveled noticed we were regarded as a novelty. We never seemed to be what was expected and our dress business attire was often more casual. We can dress to the nines, but its different.
Atlanta is the hub for more things than railroads and planes. It is a very large hub for their shenanigans concerning trafficked children.
