I though the new EO stated that if you cross illegally, you will be deported. Unless you go to a port of entry, there will NOT be any asylum claims heard.

This brings up another point - if they have to go through a port of entry, can’t we only let a few through - perhaps 1 a day - that our asylum judges can actually hear their case in a timely manner and not get backlogged?
