Good morning CB, how are ya doing?
Any better?
Finally found F&F on YouTube, Judge Nap was explaining that Whitaker is not legally qualified to be acting AG.
We shall see, Nap has been wrong before.
i was thinking while listening to it that he did get the upper hand, and it shows who is in charge of the pressers. and he gets to point out the bias and hypocrisy of the media.
yeah, i agree that he enjoyed it but it also serves his purpose over and over
thats probably what the boycott is really about
Good morning, CB. Darn elbows. (((hugs)))
LOL The "vultures" are all sleeping in.
Been a very stressful and tiring couple of days so I don't blame them.
Oh darn, CB.
Sorry you didn’t get much sleep and I know that only makes on hurt more.
::it also serves his purpose over and over::
Certainly true. I definitely keep wondering who raised these people. Once you pull this sort of stunt — tussling with the microphone person? really? — do you really expect to be rewarded with a question after that?
“e” thief alert!!! BEWARE!

I have been fully briefed on the terrible shooting in California. Law Enforcement and First Responders, together with the FBI, are on scene. 13 people, at this time, have been reported dead. Likewise, the shooter is dead, along with the first police officer to enter the bar....
Great bravery shown by police. California Highway Patrol was on scene within 3 minutes, with first officer to enter shot numerous times. That Sheriffs Sergeant died in the hospital. God bless all of the victims and families of the victims. Thank you to Law Enforcement.
Morning Gran and all.....
I’ve been A wall a bit - can’t STAND listening to the crap on FOX. Tuned into Hannity last night, and heard a bit of Laura as well. They were obviously instructed to gush all over FOX bosses for their great coverage, etc. Sickening.
I have been unable to find out the number of seats in the senate now - what is the balance of power? Were many seats picked up?
Good morning.
I think there are still races that haven’t even been called like here in AZ, don’t know if McSally won or not.
Read that the FL Senate race would be certified on Sunday, of course, Nelson has already called for a recount.
Has to be within a certain margin to get that recount tho.
Look for Sinema to follow suit if she doesn’t win.

Your tale of adding a new machine to your shop reminded me of this excellent book:
"Shop Class as Soulcraft: An Inquiry into the Value of Work"
By Matthew B. Crawford
ISBN: 978-0143117469
The basic premise is that taking shop class out of schools was and is a bad idea giving us generations of young people who for the most part
don't know how things work or how to work with their hands - how to make things or how to fix things.
"The man who works recognizes his own product in the World that has actually been transformed by his work:
he recognizes himself in it, he sees in it his own human reality"
Here are some excerpts from the opening pages:
"Anyone in the market for a good used machine tool should talk to Noel Dempsey, a dealer in Richmond,
Virginia. Noel's bustling warehouse is full of metal lathes, milling machines, and table saws, and it turns
out that most of it is from schools. EBay is awash in such equipment, also from schools. It appears shop
class is becoming a thing of the past, as educators prepare students to become "knowledge workers.""A decline in tool use would seem to betoken a shift in our mode of inhabiting the world: more passive
and more dependent. And indeed, there are fewer occasions for the kind of spiritedness that is called
forth when we take things in hand for ourselves, whether to fix them or to make them. What ordinary
people once made, they buy; and what they once fixed for themselves, they replace entirely or hire an
expert to repair, whose expert fix often involves installing a pre-made replacement part."

Thank you lysie. I appreciate it.
Good morning. I’m going to take it easy on my arms today. I have physical therapy this morning so I’ll let her do the pain-relieving things and we will go easy on the stretches. I’m so glad I don’t have a therapist to have to fight with anymore.
Hope your hubby comes back with Fistfuls of money!
So true, all of the really practical things have been taken out of schools. No shop, no home ec. And some sort of just basic finance class would be good, although I didn’t have that in school either.
Not only are schools not teaching the required subjects they are taking away the Practical ones as well. There’s just keeps our kids more and more dependent and incapable of doing anything for themselves. And certainly not thinking, they don’t want them thinking either.
