Three unusual happenings have sparked claims that Biblical prophecies about the end of the world and the coming of the Messiah may be coming true.
The first occurrence was the birth of the first 'red heifer in 2,000 years' in Israel - a creature that features in 'end of times' tales in both Christianity and Judaism.
The news of the birth, which emerged in September, was followed by claims last month that fish and other forms of life are quickly filling up Dead Sea sinkholes.
Hebrew prophet Ezekiels end-of-days prophecy foresees the sea - a hypersaline environment, with a reported 37 per cent salinity - flourishing into life.
And a photojournalist with the Dead Sea Revival Project said that coming to the body of water, "the lowest point on earth, you see prophecy coming true".
The third strange occurrence took place this week, when a snake was filmed slithering out of Israel's Western Wall, unexpectedly interrupting prayers.

All three things never ever happened before?
Fish in a sinkhole(Not the Dead Seas)Less salinity due to rainwater runoff...
A red heifer? They don't have red angus in the holy land? and wow, a snake crawling among rocks, both are uncommon in Israel?
Color me Nonplussed.... at the credulity of anyone who believes this.

I thought that thing in the sky last year was the “sign.” Guess it wasn’t. Oh, well, now it’s wall snakes. Do I still have to pay my MasterCard next month?

Believers should give me their money since the end is near.

I might believe it if someone proves obozo is not an American citizen and he and his cohorts are put in jail for life.
Now that is the miracle I am waiting for.

They aren’t signs, obviously. The immorality of society in general is far more of a sign than those.
One of the prime signs is mentioned in Luke 21:20. That happened in 70 AD, but it’s to happen again when the Messiah comes.

“As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him” (Amos 5:19).
We see that snakes can live in the walls of Jewish homes.

I’m 73, and I’ve heard this “prophecy” over, and over, and over, since I can remember.
The way I learned it, only God knows the time, and no one else.
I look at it like this, like I did with all of the “bomb” scares of the Cold War era, If it comes, there’s nothing anyone can do about it, and we’re all going to go.
If it doesn’t, we’ve still got a life to live for the time being, and I’m not going t sit down and roll up into a ball of fear.
“Doomsday” stories are always a media favorite.

I'm not that old but I did live though some of the Cold War hysteria. It was possible, though and did give it some credence.
My first reading of a doomsday prophecy was when I was thirteen and read about the Millerites(Not Mill lites)
I thought "who would believe this?
Then I started watching late night "televangelists" and one, Jimmy Swaggart" was particularly interesting. He didn't get any of my money(didn't have any) but I did get out the family Bible and tried to follow his rendition of the Bible. Also Gene Scott. He was a trip.
