Sounds like a plan and will soften the public to him declaring martial law when the arrests start coming.
It’s also a great story about Gen’l Pershing because he took a racial slur and turned it into a romantic nickname handed down into history. Just like we must blunt the vicious cries of “racist” today.
One more thing, and I already guessed this before I looked it up: Pershing was a REPUBLICAN because REPUBLICAN has always been the party of FREEDOM for BLACKS and everybody else. OOORAH!
Having metal detectors and locked doors is not an undue imposition. If it’s good enough for govt buildings it’s good enough for schools. For Pete’s sake, this should have been done after the Beslan siege. Just check the backpacks once, like they do at hotels in most of the world, and then they’re good to go.
