One of the tasks a President is charged with is keeping the country safe, securing the border.

FWIW, during the War of Northern Aggression, the Battle of Chattanooga was continued with the South using rocks when they ran out of bullets. Although eventually losing the battle,they held off the enemy for many hours using rocks. Rocks can be quite deadly.
