Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.
During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.
"You don't look 80 years old to me," Pres tells Sgt Major Canley, commenting on the fitness of the retired Marine.

CNN is reporting that another suspicious package has been sent to the Time Warner Center in New York.

I wonder if Pres-ent ZerO ever had such ceremonies in the White House. His calendar was so full of parties for Hollywood entertainers, he might not have had time. Even if he did, I doubt that the enthusiasm was as great as it was for President Trump in this video. I highly recommend watching it.
Thanks for posting.
“There are, however, limits and restraints upon the President in his exercise of
emergency powers. With the exception of the habeas corpus clause, the Constitution
makes no allowance for the suspension of any of its provisions during a national
emergency. Disputes over the constitutionality or legality of the exercise of
emergency powers are judicially reviewable. Indeed, both the judiciary and
Congress, as co-equal branches, can restrain the executive regarding emergency
powers. So can public opinion. Furthermore, since 1976, the President has been
subject to certain procedural formalities in utilizing some statutorily delegated
emergency authority. The National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601-1651)
eliminated or modified some statutory grants of emergency authority; required the
President to declare formally the existence of a national emergency and to specify
what statutory authority, activated by the declaration, would be used; and provided
Congress a means to countermand the Presidents declaration and the activated
authority being sought. The development of this regulatory statute and subsequent
declarations of national emergency are reviewed in this report, which is updated as...”
How many of these hoax bombs got to their intended addressee? All of the ones to people with secret service protection were stopped at their off-site mail receiving locations. All of those bomb squad people and trucks at HRCs home in Chappaqua were ridiculous. Why not at the mail location? That is where someone was in danger, if there had been any danger.
This part got me thinking,
any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions.
It seems like this is a disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, economy and government functions.
I think that is different because it would involve the other country’s military. It’s different when it’s civilians. I am not an expert on the law, but I’ve heard for years in the media that our military can not be used to turn people away from the border. HOWEVER- I just heard that the President MAY sign an executive order to try and change this. To try to frame it the way the travel-ban was framed. I wonder how long that will take the lefties to get turned around by some judge in their back pocket???
Declare Martial Law...
martial law
n. a system of complete control by a country’s military over all activities, including civilian, in a theoretical or actual war zone, or during a period of emergency caused by a disaster such as an earthquake or flood, with the military commander having dictatorial powers. In the United States martial law must be ordered by the President as commander-in-chief and must be limited to the duration of the warfare or emergency. It cannot result in a long-term denial of constitutional rights, such as habeas corpus, the right to a trial, and to free press. Martial law was ordered in contested areas during the Civil War (but the Supreme Court ruled President Abraham Lincoln’s suspension of the writ of habeas corpus was unconstitutional), and during the San Francisco earthquake and fire in 1906 when the city was in ruins, tens of thousands were homeless, and looting and disease posed great dangers to the public. Misuse of martial law, such as destruction of the veterans’ encampment in Washington, D.C. under President Herbert Hoover, has proved unpopular in the United States. In many foreign countries martial law has become a method to establish and maintain dictatorships either by military leaders or politicians backed by the military. Martial law is not to be confused with “military law,” which governs the conduct of the military services and applies only to service men and women
If it was a real bomb yesterday how thehell are people just strolling into CNN with packages?

Lookee here!
One of the caravans in Mexico threw away the food and clothing donated to it.
“Is there something else behind this caravan?” the woman asks.
That’s a big “Sí.”

Liveleak.com - Caravan. Mexico learns what Europe learned.
That these poor starving hard done by “refugees”, are ungrat..
www.liveleak.com
Can I it be declared for, say, so many miles in from the entire border?
Hawaiian judge will strike it down as soon as he is done surfing.
Is this not an invasion? If this caravan grows to 10K or 14K or as some have suggested 40K, we just wave them in & hand them bottles of water & blankets?
—
I’ve read rumors that the next wave will be 50K....then quarter million, etc. sending them into all of the red states.
Sickening.
It seems like this is a disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, economy and government functions.

Agree, completely!
They seem to want to look relevant.
They are not armed...nor a military....this creates a problem of using military to stop them....they claim they are seeking asylum so laws on people seeking asylum do come into play.
Additionally they say they’re in masses in order to protect each other as they travel even though we see it as an invasion.
