I could barely pay attention to what the commie was talking about with all of his fake Obama like gestures and Obama like speech pattern.
Cruz mopped the floor with him. He is not ready to be a senator from a big state. He should move to a small liberal state. It was sad.
I wonder if he called himself "BETO" when he was in Manhattan, whilst he was at college at Columbia. That would have been really peculiar.

Cruz did beat O’Rourke soundly tonight.
The bigger news is that O’Rourke is now a serious dark horse Presidential candidate for 2020.
He is easily better than Biden and Democrats fantasize about this white Obama persona bringing someone to the political process that is not a senior citizen.
O’Rourke will refuse to share his 50 million dollars with other Democrats because he can see the cash cow coming in a Presidential race he spent the evening mocking Cruz for engaging in.
I was a huge Cruzer at the start. When it became apparent it would be Trump, I went to Trump for the sake of the US. I would love to see Cruz as Chief Justice. He could recite the Constitution backwards. Beto debating Cruz is a waste of a great mans talent. He could be great on the SCOTUS. Judically the man is brilliant.

I agree! I made this comment too, when he was criticizing Cruz for running for president that the whole reason he is doing this Obama immitation is because he wants to run in 2020. And then his closing remarks were against Trump, not Cruz. He knows he is losing this race, but started is 2020 campaign tonight, veins bulging and all!
No worries. A fellow FReeper tracked-down and shared the YouTube video of Bob the Fake and his really terrible band. You can clearly hear the host say, “Take us out, Bob!”
This is the clearest election I’ve ever seen. Cruz is running as himself, ultra conservative and beta is running as el paso’s Bernie Sanders. He’s not even trying to hide.
Cruz says “he wants your guns, he wants socialized medicine, he wants open border with Mexico.”
To which beta responds “yes.”
If Texas elects this fool the Republican Party has some serious issues cause Texas has gone from red to blue in two years. (Immigration and transplants from liberal states) Not going to win the presidency without it to help offset California.
His father was a judge in Texas and his maternal step grandfather was Head of the Navy under JFK.
Though he went to public grammar schools, he went to a teensy all male boarding school, in Virginia, for high school and then it was off to an Ivy...Columbia, in Manhattan, where he majored in English lit, of all things.
