It is possible that one of O’Rourke’s ancestors was a Spanish sailor shipwrecked after the defeat of this Armada. Some claim those Irish who are not fair skinned or blue eyed are descendants of Spaniards. Even if this were the case, he is no more Hispanic than Elizabeth Warren is Indian.

Black haired & blue eyed Irish are called “BLACK IRISH”, with overtones that their paternal line contains one of the Spanish
sailors from the defeated Armada. :-)
