My wife is 25% Native Canadian, but the 50% Dutch so overwhelms it that she would never dream of claiming Indian blood.

No matter what she is, it’s disgusting that she ever wanted to use a racial advantage to get ahead of others in the first place. That should be the real issue here.
All of this race counting must stop. NO one should get special privileges on account of ancestry. NO one should be $hit upon because of it.

I have far, far more American Indian blood (Choctaw and Cherokee) than Warren, yet it would never occur to me to declare that I’m eligible for any preference based on that ethnicity.
She lied about her ancestry, received two jobs otherwise reserved for real Native Americans, and this is her pathetic attempt to cover herself.
The best way around this crap is for everyone to claim minority ancestry. Your next child, put them down as Indian. The one after that black. Once everyone is a minority, then this will stop.

Many, many,many generations ago, one of Elizabeth Warren’s Native-American ancestors decided it was more advantageous to be white.
Since then, not a single person in Sen. Warren’s lineage has sought out a return to their native heritage, choosing instead to marry only “white” people.
Native-Americans are saddened that Sen. Warren’s family tree has been so embarrassed by their Native-American heritage that they have only considered non-Native-Americans as their choice of spouse for so many generations.
It’s starting to approaching the point of “piling on.” But then, Warren deserves all the derision heaped upon her.

My wife is half Italian on her mother's side. Her Dad is from North Carolina for as far back as anyone can remember. She did a DNA test to see what her Dad's half shows. She's as Native American as E. Warren!
My paternal great grandmother was full-blood Wiyot of the Bear River Band in the Humboldt/Klamath region of California. Not many of us left. It burns to see someone like Elizabeth Warren try to lay claim to something she is obviously not entitled to.
