LOL
Truer words have ne’er been spoken!
Well, ‘Dead Flowers’ wouldn’t be exactly appropriate....
I saw her today at the reception.
A glass of wine in her hand.
I knew she would make her connection.
At her feet was a footloose man.
Other verse:
I saw her today at the reception.
In her glass was a bleeding man.
She was practiced at the art of deception.
Well, I could tell by her bloodstained hands.
The very first time I heard this song at one of his early rallies I immediately knew that it was a reference to the Hildebeast. The song was so popular that they kept using it. They continued to use it, I think, as a reference to the dims.

That would require the services of a man willing to be in the same room with them...yuck!
I heard that during the campaign it was directed at the gop establishment.
Its a curious choice especially considering its by a British band but l am pretty sure l get it.
I was at that rally as well. Got within the last 5 people who got to talk to Trump. Was one of the first 20 people in line, Learned that front people are strange, especially the guy with the two Dalmatian service dogs. At let the dogs created a little pocket in the crowd that left just a bit of air behind me. The heat was unbearable. Gave one of the security guys a bunch of tissues cause he was sweating so badly.
Personally,wWent in as a sceptic, left as a believer. I knew he was going to win after seeing him. He was hitting all the right notes.
And wasn’t that storm wild? Lucky for Mr Kitty and I , we got there so early, we were parked no more than 50 feet from the venue :-)
I guess Trump may not have been what we wanted, but he was what we needed.
Roger that! His plane going by was priceless.
I dont know why but at my first Trump rally Trump
ended the speech with me as politically fired up as I have ever been. Then they start blaring out my favorite Stones song, and they play it loud. The song is positive and upbeat and just seems to fit. The song cuts across all generations of voters (other than a few young snot nosed millennials).
He is thumbing his nose at the left! They can’t get all that they want....
The Vile Clintons used Dont Stop Thinking About Tomorrow, a song that I truly despise.
Ever since then I would not listen to anything by Fleetwood Mac.
You and me both.
The song came out in 1969, right when everything was happening that made America lose some of her greatness.
Maybe Trump is sending a message to that generation, the “me generation,” the one that messed everything up because they were so self centered.

We got what America needs... Trump
I think he likes it. but at one of the recent washington dc rallies i think for gun control or some massacre they were playing “what’s my name” I thot that was very weird.
