It's Friday night, it's getting cooler, autumn is definitely here in the Northeast.
Just watched Trump's rally in Ohio out on Right Side Broadcasting on the You Tube.
As always, President Donald J Trump closed out his rally with the Rolling Stones song called "You Can't Always Get What You Want."
He's been playing that song constantly. When I saw the Trump rally in Fairfield, CT back on August 13, 2016, back on the weekend when Trump jettisoned Paul Manafort and brought in Kellyanne Conway and Steve Bannon to run his winning campaign, they closed with that very same song. Why? Why do they always close with that song?
By the way, that August 13, 2016 rally in Fairfield, CT was quite historic. It was the very last rally in which he did not use a teleprompter (Kellyanne insisted on that going forward), my dog was dying of lymphoma and a massive thunderstorm hit Fairfield just as the rally was winding up. I remember the pouring rains and intense lightning and thunder after the rally. I went back into the arena and watched the Fake News press tearing down their equipment. Some rowdy guy got himself arrested for being rowdy. And then candidate Donald Trump was still walking the ropeline signing autographs.
What a strange night that was. And glorious as well.
So I'm just saying, it's Friday night, autumn is upon us, the mid-term elections are upon us, Halloweeen is upon us (and all the mosquitoes are dying) and Trump is still playiing that "You Can't Always Get What You Want" song after his rallies.
What does it all mean? That's all I'm asking you guys tonight.
Because "You Can't Always Get What You Want"
But if you try
sometime you find.
You get what you need.
The woman on Right Side Broadcasting is wearing no shoes. That’s okay. She’s pretty nice looking.
Probably because it’s true.
Probably to remind people that they’ll still need to be patient while he’s trying to get things done.
Rome wasn’t built in a day.
It should be obvious
It probably just means it’s one of PDJT’s favorite songs.
Maybe it’s his way of poking the Stones in the eye. They don’t want him using the song. But they don’t have a say - Trump’s campaign paid for it and has the right to use it. You might say you can’t always get what you want.
It’s a great song. Maybe he just likes it. With all of his success, he must have had to endured more than his share of setbacks over the years. Maybe listening to that song helped him cope.
I have read he likes to use the music of celebrities who claim in public they hate him but live in his buildings. Dont know if its true. Elton John comes to mind.
You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want
You can’t always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you just might find
You just might find
You get what you need, oh yeah
Probably a smack at the usual “politickin’”.
Cutious, too, if he’s ever discussed the choice.
2nd post wins the chicken dinner!
I love the fact that Trumps entrance song is Lee Greenwoods God Bless the USA.
...for the same reason Wade Boggs ate fried chicken everyday during his hitting streaks.
Never gave that much thought, but maybe hes being magnanimous by consoling Hillary voters. Bwaaahaaaaa! Soon maybe hell play brown sugar for the people of color that can find a job. May they live long and prosper. MAGA.
My impression is that it’s always been a completely unsubtle, brilliant troll.
> Why does Trump always close out his rallies with the Stones “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”? <
Trump is just giving Hillary some friendly advice.
Former Rolling Stones manager Alan Klein’s company has the rights to many of the Rolling Stones songs and will sell use to anyone.
Remember, at one time Michael Jackson owned the rights to the Beatles songs until Paul McCartney bought it back.
Hes a deal maker and thats his credo. In deals you cant always get what you want, but you might get what you need.
Because Trimp is Batman.
Trump is the hero we deserve.
