I have been thankful for Wal-Mart as long as I’ve known about them. They even put a supercenter in a small nearby town so I can shop there without spending hours at the big town store. If local SC doesn’t have it I can do without or order online. I have wasted money at Wal-Mart but I have saved much more I think. The local manager and wife are my friends. Great, God-fearing people. ALL kinds of people shop at Wal-Mart. This isn’t an argument either of you can win definitively. Cletus is correct about some of the board members and those in charge. However,Michael T. Duke was Walmart’s President and CEO from February 1, 2009 to January 31, 2014. He was and is on the Board of Directors for Bible Study Fellowship. I am a proud WM shopper and sometimes I go there without makeup and with work clothes on which make me look pretty trashy but in a hurry who cares?

Rosenstein to travel with Trump on Air Force One

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is on Monday set to travel aboard Air Force One with President Trump.

Rosenstein planned to travel with the president on his visit to the International Association of Chiefs of Police annual conference in Orlando.

A Department of Justice official confirmed to The Hill that the deputy attorney general would join the president on Air Force One. The New York Times first reported the development.

The move comes nearly two weeks after the two were first scheduled to meet following a New York Times report that Rosenstein had proposed secretly recording conversations with Trump and discussed the possibility of administration officials invoking the 25th Amendment to remove him from office shortly after former FBI Director James Comey was fired in 2017.

There was widespread speculation that Rosenstein would either resign or be fired following The Times report.

Trump postponed a scheduled meeting until after then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation process concluded. Kavanaugh was confirmed on Saturday in a 50-48 vote.

Rosenstein told senior White House officials that he wished to resign in the days after the report surfaced, according to the Times. But his offer came as Kavanaugh’s confirmation process became contentious, which led to a meeting between Trump and Rosenstein being postponed.

Trump has since stated that he’s willing to keep Rosenstein at the Justice Department, where he oversees special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian election interference.

FWIW - Got to enjoy a toast to our Justice Brett Kavanaugh with a whole table of good Freepers Saturday night. Nothing like being able to raise that glass with real live Freepers. Not everyone on FR are FreeQs but all except DS trolls still cheer for the good guys.
