At least two professors at Mississippi State University canceled class or excused students for a planned “moment of silence” for the women accusing Supreme Court justice nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault more than 30 years ago.
Multiple MSU faculty and staff members attended the silent protest, which was focused on expressing solidarity with the women who have accused Kavanaugh of sexual assault. But only a few students attended, even with the offer of being excused from class.

Oh, good grief. Liberalism needs to be designated a mental disease and we need to start re-opening asylums - better yet, just close down these useless Universities and use THEM for asylums. Just lock them in their safespaces with cuddle puppies and a copy of the Communist Manifesto and they’ll be as happy as Marco Rubio at a foam party.

When some idiot professor says you are excused from the class (as in this case)....it basically means that there’s nothing important from that class, and you ought to go and question the university board about the value of that class or the professor involved.

Mississippi State is a great school! My daughter went there. Very conservative, great people. Not surprised by pathetic turnout. Starkville (affectionately known as Starkvegas) small college town.

And what gives her the right to do such a thing. There are students who paid tuition and taxpayers that support her salary.

You used to hear guys back in the 60s or 70s say they joined liberal causes and showed up to demonstrations because there were so many hot chicks there. My, how times have changed. I’m not even sure all of those holding signs are women. I suppose some of them are “transitioning” to womanhood? All of them should be safe from the sort of behavior Kavanaugh is accused of.
