Well I seem to remember that during the Clinton Lewinsky era that a woman didn’t have a problem submitting an affidavit under penalty of perjury that she did not have sex with the president when eventually it was uncovered that she did have sex with the president but stunningly she never did jail time for submitting a false affidavit.
