A survey shows that if the 2016 presidential election were held today Hillary Clinton would win the popular vote. The American Barometer was conducted by Hill.TV and the polling company HarrisX.
Based on the responses, the poll found that 36 percent of voters would vote for Trump again while 44 percent would vote for Clinton.
4 percent said they would vote for Libertarian Gary Johnson and 2 percent said they would vote for Jill Stein of the Green Party. Other options allowed respondents to choose not to vote in this hypothetical situation, to decline to vote, or choose someone else.
When these options were taken away and people were asked to choose between Trump or Clinton, the number of people who would vote for Trump increased to 40 percent while Clinton surpassed him with 50 percent. The survey was conducted online between September 14 and September 15 among 1,000 registered voters. The results were weighted for age within gender, region, race and ethnicity, income and education. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.2 percentage points.
During the 2016 election, Clinton had won the popular vote with 48.2 percent. Trump still managed to win the Electoral College and land the presidency.
"In 2016, I think a bunch of Americans thought to themselves “let’s just blow things up and see what happens,'” John Podesta, Clinton campaign chief, said to Hill.TV regarding the poll. "Now that they have actually seen what happens, they wish they could get back to the strong, steady leadership that Hillary has always provided."

A different survey conducted by Hill.TV showed that 46 percent of people approved of Trump while his disapproval rating is higher at 54 percent.

If justice prevailed, Hillary would be spending the rest of her life in prison. Doubt that will ever happen, but neither will she ever hold high office again.
Her one and only real shot at the presidency was in 2008, but Obama came out of nowhere and blew her out of the water. 2016 was an even greater uphill climb for her, as the country had already lived under a Democrat president for a full two terms. It's almost impossible for either party to hold the White House for three consecutive terms.
No, her political career is over. It's why she's been on a manic screechfest since Trump was elected. She knows she'll be little more than a footnote in history, now. Heck, the state of Texas has already wiped her from its public school history books.
So that she can prevent DJT from draining the swamp. She wants to undo everything that he has done and is doing. When the authors of “Shattered” explained that she apologized to Obama on the night of the election, I thought that it was curious for her to do so.
But now it makes so much sense, she needed to be elected, she had to be elected ..... to save his legacy, and to seal all of those wrongdoings that occurred during Obama’s term and along with all of her misdeeds. They knew that they had the media covering for them so they did not think that it was possible for her to lose.
It was such a delicious night. She thought that she was going to shatter the glass ceiling, but it was her that was shattered along with the whole democratic party. Once she lost, they were all going, “OH SHIT”.
That is why they have worked so hard to undermine him (DJT) and keep him busy with bullshit charges and news stories. They are terrified of what is bubbling to the surface. A lesser person would have crumbled under the pressure. DJT mocks them because he knows way more than he lets on. Pop some popcorn and tune in. It is going to be an exciting 6 years.
