unfortunately Laura Ingraham is tweeting the same thing she says she has 2 sources
think it through. the last three words of that tweet were "tune in tonight!"
To: Sarah Barracuda
i will wait but nothing the senile Grassley does surprises me . They hate the Gop base anyways and hate to be in charge .

I say screw 'em. Do it and do it now, then vote.
Pubbies and perhaps even DjT, however, are reading polls suggesting they should not alienate the female vote, which is why their being so accommodating.
I'd set a bar with no flexibility....get Ford's hearing completed by Wednesday.( I assume they've already flexed on a Monday hearing.) Vote on Thursday.
I do not think Mitch and some others will settle for anything less than a positive confirmation vote completed by next week. They know to fail means November death.

If the Hearing does not occur on Monday, then the earliest that the committee can next meet is next Friday. That is the Senate Rules. The Democrats are using the Senate rules to stymie the rights of the majority.

I think I Heard it right..I also heard Tucker say it.

As Harry Reid demonstrated, the Senate rules can be changed at the discretion of the majority.

Well, Grassley's office is getting a call from me tomorrow. I'll try to control my language. I don't live in Iowa, but his feeble actions are affecting me and, more importantly, this country. I can't believe how weak-kneed GOP senators are. They kowtow to the media, but us, the Republican voters? We may as well not exist. I feel sorry for Kavanaugh. Not one of those effers is standing up for him, even after all he went through during the hearings.
To: Hojczyk
If we’re going to play this game, expect 30-35 women to come forth now about Donald Trump sexually assaulting them from age 15-65.
Uncharged offenses did not occur for purposes of holding office. BJ Clinton is proof of that.
To: ncalburt
Kavanaugh’s greatest asset is that he’s been an establishment GOP fixture for years. In fact, that’s the single biggest reason a lot of Freepers would not have considered him the ideal nominee for this vacant seat.

Dems want to delay, win the Senate, and then delay until they win the 2020 election. That’s their long plan.
The best long plan will fail if there is short term bankruptcy.
To: ncalburt
My guess is that he knows quite a bit about Senate Rules than you do, but you are special, aren’t you.

At some point Kavanaugh may walk and a lot of the doddering old Senate GOP leadership would be relieved.

Then they can expect to lose the midterms.
To: Alberta's Child
That is certainly true, propose a change and then count the votes. Once that has been done, we are off to the races. Without that, this is just a fairy tale.
