Recently I spent some time at NJ Best Buy store waiting for service at cell phone department. Loged to their Network and internet access. Loaded FReerepublic page, when trying to load second page, my access got blocked with message about "innapropriet" content. That was it! Looks like communist fingers are getting long.
We are [bleeped]!
You go to Best Buy? How unfortunate.
Since you are one of the three people left who still buy stuff at Best Buy, you would think they would be more careful about pissing you off!
Same experience on Acela Express from DC. Shocking.
Who knows? It’s their servers. There is some stuff put up here that maybe a private company wouldn’t want showing up on a network they own, especially if they want to remain apolitical.
Wow...freaking commies. If google does this for China I’d wager thwre are internet screening subscriptions companies can buy from them.
Well, as an alternative, did you try to go to Democratic Underground? ;-)
That would be the test.
Typical Minnesota leftist company. I avoid them at all costs.
“You go to Best Buy? How unfortunate.”
I am elite plus. No complaints.
Every year for the past few years this ets recycled ...
If not...
Sometimes FReepers use “azz holes” and other shockingly obscene and totally unacceptable uses of the language.(kidding)
Now rap artists can rhapsodize cop killers and thugs who tear women apart with blades or rape them and describe women with foul names——and that’s perfectly okay? I’m sure Best Buy would agree. That group’s “privilege” and “special rights” just expired. Too bad.
Untrue? Hope so. We can test it. Would have to darken the door of that dive, though.
see if DUh is accessible.
DailyKaOS?
Nation of Islam?
They probably got tired of guys like me setting every computer that was online in the store to the FR main forum page .
Haven’t checked recently but before the were blocking a lot of blog sites.

Are you sure you want to use their wifi?
Back in 2009 BB wouldn’t wish their customers Merry Christmas, but did wish them a Happy Eid Al Adha !
While in the mean time they uploaded your address book, internet history, and every phone call you ever made...
