my understanding is that giving blood is healthy for you. it thins the blood in a natural way rather than using something like rat poison to do the job.

No; it’s the perfect time. At least, that’s the first thing I though of. Spirit cooking, etc., that Clintons, Podestas, etc., are involved in. (Obviously ineffective, looking at Bill and Hill.)
