It’ll probably be mostly teen run-aways looking for money for drugs. Selling themselves and their blood. Yuck.

It’s not really related to this topic but it popped into my head so I will make this post about it.

Lactating women who have a large milk supply pump it out and put it into little 5oz baggies specially made for the purpose.

They freeze it in a deep-freeze set below 0 Fahrenheit and once every few weeks they ship it off packed in dry-ice to companies that sell it to those needing it for babies that tolerate formula poorly.

This is an HONORABLE and very needed thing indeed!

I know of this since I used to donate time to the Le leche League, mostly I repaired their broken breast pumps. I refused the allotted pay for this service and instead had them purchase the kits of parts that the young women needed to go along with the pumps they loaned them... many girls did not have the 25$ to buy the kits.

I really enjoyed working with those people.

The whole blood is processed via apheresis. The whole blood goes into the machine and only collects what is being donated. The rest gets put back in via a separate IV.

It’s the same way a stem cell donation is given for a transplant. It’s rare to donate bone marrow anymore. This machine removes the need to surgery,
Anesthesia, recovery, etc

My sister donated her stem cells to me. It took her about 5 + hours.

There’s a huge difference in a transplant and transfusion. A transplant does just that. I no longer make my old blood cells/stem cells any longer. They killed my bone marrow and replaced it with her cells which found their way to my bone marrow. I now produce only her cells with her DNA. This causes GVHD many times as well. Her cells are forever fighting my body.

What they are talking about is a simple transfusion. The cells will die in a couple of months.

There was a movie sort of about that. But, the girl was born and raised to help her sick sister. ‘My Sisters Keeper’

I’d always heard people believed this “treatment” help maintain youth and health, but I’d never seen anything substantial before. I’ve heard assertions that Ambramovic is much older than she looks. Doesn’t explain why Hillary looks so haggish though, unless it’s just prove that “it’s what’s on the inside that counts,” or “beauty is as beauty does.”

So, heck with $8000, I’m recruiting my grandchildren. If I can look as good as GS, HRC, AND KR.. I’m so there. Don’t they all just look fantastic?? I’m already planning on using my grandchildren as my drivers when I’m old. They don’t know it yet. But why not steal their young blood??? I may need a basement and some lab equipment. I’m teasing about all of this, except maybe the driving Nana on errands lol. Wasn’t there some hype about super oxygen doing the same thing? What happened to those oxygen bars anyway??

I’m recruiting my grandchildren

I have eight grand-donors. HA!

They range from 26 to one year. I'll live forever!

I just thought of another ploy; I'll buy each a new iPhone every year just to insure a steady supply!

Whether it actually works or not isn't the question. What matters is there are people that do believe and the activity that may derive from that. See the following comment #40. Pure evil.
