Burt Reynolds Dead at 82

Burt Reynolds died of a heart attack Thursday morning at a hospital in Florida, according to multiple reports.

Reynold was 82.

Burt was transported a Florida hospital after going into cardiac arrest. His family was by his side when he passed.

Burt was a star in the moves and on TV -- appearing in classics like "Smokey and the Bandit," "Boogie Knights" and "Cannonball Run."

RIP, Mr. Reynolds. You were a big part of my life. From your movies, to the ranch in Jupiter Farms to Navajo Joe. Thank you, Sir.

I didn’t see all his movies, but I liked Deliverance, Rough Cut, Paternity, Best Friends, Sharky’s Machine and Starting Over.

Always remember a scene in one of the original Dukes of Hazzard episodes (one of the ones shot in and around the Covington, GA area in 1978-79) in which Cooter (IIRC) says to one of the Dukes while riding in the General Lee “I wonder what Burt Reynolds would do in a situation like this?” and either Bo or Luke then said “Well, he’d be with someone prettier than you”.
